sleeping giant showcase

On Wednesday, after school, I stayed a bit longer to help rikke to backe a Danish cake with Coconut. It was nice and I think the cake tasted good, eventhough I din't had a real piece, because the cake was ment to be sold the next day at lunch time for the international food lunch. But I left school a bit before the cake was ready, but Rikke finished it and I saw it the enxt day and it looked good:)

After school I went home and helped preparing dinner. Then Rikke came over and we ate dinner and then my hostmom gave us a ride to the Hawke's Bay Opera House, which is in Hastings.


When we arrived, there were already quite a lot of people, but we had friends sitting in the first row, so we had a wonderful view. In fact it was a show from the music department of our school, and a lot of the senior students had to paticipate and there were 17 different groups singing or just playing a song instrumental. It was really nice, and the songs were written by themselves and it was really great. And the opera house is a wonderful building and I think it was quite an honor to be able to beon stage there!

After the show, Rikke's hostmom fetched us and dropped me of. It was a wonderful night and there were also some international students playing instruments, which was nice too!
