At around 1 pm I met my friends Rikke and Anna. We went for a walk all together next to the creek, a way I didn't know before, but it's really nice and calm! We talked about our holidays.
Then we went to Rikke's house and played candycrush or solitar, and talked some more and we did an experience, because I saw a video on Youtube that you can do smarkling water with lemon juice (acid) and some backing powder, so we tried it and mixed it together and it was lightly sparkling but it actually didn't taste nicely...
Then Anna had to leave but Rikke and I watched Mr&Mrs Smith which was really nice and we laughed quite a lot and it's been quite some time since I haven't seen that movie;)
Then I just wanted to leave and Rikke's hostmom invited me to stay for tea(dinner), so we went to the corner shop to buy a few igredients for tea and Rikke backed some wonderful bread and we made som couscous and an omlette, which rather looked like scrabled eggs, but it was delicious!
Then we watched the 8 Mile but the DVD finally didn't work properly, so I left at that stage.
Rikke told me that there are a lot of eels in New Zealand and some are being fed and when the people stop feeding them, they might even eat a kid swimming in their water, because they are used to eating meat so they would even attack a person which is really scary, but I'm not totally sure if that's really sure if it's true. And my hostsister told me that eels can go out of the water because they are amphibs and they can feel if there is another bigger waterzone next to them. They could even survive some time out of the water. But they rather go out of the water at some day when it rained before and they can easilier slide like a snake over the grass. I think that'S absolutely scary... And I saw some eels in the aquarium in Napier and they look quite scary to me..
Bon, j'ai appris un nouveau mot : eel. Et franchement, je trouve ces histoires "bizarres". Manger un enfant?? Quand même.... Comme toi, je suis septique.
