Today, Tuesday the 13th

I decided to do my own music video in Media Studies, because the music the girls chose who I was in the group before, wasn't my taste, so I will make a musicvideo to a French song, so that's something totally different! The teacher was very openminded about my idea, and I will show my song to the class tomorrow:)

In English we are still talking about the film Juno and analysing it. That may sound boring somehow, but it isn't at all! I really like doing that.

In history we are still taking about Vietnam war, but it's quite interesting. That thing is that I got told a few days ago that I will have to write the essays too, so the classpapers. That's kind of scary for me. In history two are going to be written.. First we can choose the subject of our choice and the second one has to be something that influenced New Zealand. So these tests are made of reserche at home and then I will have to keep the important facts about that subject in mind and describe what actually happend. The second one, it has to be an historical event that affected New Zealand in some way and I will have to describe the causes and consequences about that. I'm kind of paniked of that tests, even if they won't have any affect to my schoolmarks in Luxembourg.

I have finished my assessment in Digital Technology, I thought it was pretty easy, so I finished my lesson reading in my historybook;)

And this after-noon, a friend came to my house because we had to go to town to buy some ingredients for our cooking class tomorrow. So went with the bikes to town and baught some salmon and avocado for our Sushi:D I really loooove Sushi and there are quite a lot of Japanese girls in our cooking class but none of them had the idea to do Sushi, but I had it! So we went to the local supermarket, called New World and bought that and a few dried fruits and a little candys;) And some sparkling water!

Here in New Zealand, the people all say Lollies to all sort of candys, that's something I didn't really understand at the beginning.

So the things I miss, is some food like mashed potatoes or potatoe salad, then some sparkling water, because that's not common to have some here, when I want some I have to buy it myself, at home in Luxembourg it was all natural to always have some sparkling water.

So today is the first time since one month I have drunken some sparkling water!! I also miss the busrides.. Here there is almost no public transport, only sometimes a bus to go to Hastings or Napier.. I used to ride a lot with the bus and now I don't ride it at all anymore..

But I really miss my mother's food, it was mostly nothing special but it was always delicious and I really miss that taste!

And I miss my Family and Friends for sure.. But I must say until now I have never been really homesick. I am sad after skyping with my mother or my dad or when I red some letters from them and my siblings.. But it really never lasted, which is kind of good, because there are still 5 month to stay.. But I think it helps that I write a lot of E-Mails with them or I skype with them so I am still a part of their lives, which is great! And I write with my Friends on Facebook, so I'm still informed about a lot of things:)
