Last schoolday! Yes, finally. But it was a pretty short day.
School, first period English where we did a spelling and a person describtion gabe, which was nice. And we got Lollies as a pice! The lession was shortened, but it was really nice.
Second period, we had cooking, so I and my cookingpartners finished the calzone and then put it into the oven. For the rest of the period we were watching Annabel Langbein. Then we had a shortend, 15 minutes interval, and then everybody had to go to their Formclass. In my class, the leavers, year 13 and internationals, did a little speech and we had fizzy drinks and Lollies.
Then everybody was bussed into Hastings, to the Opera House. There we all took seat, and we did a few rehersals and then the teachers all came in, they were wearing a special black cape and some different colored hats. Everybody had to be wearing a uniform, the year 13 in the number one uniform and the rest with the normal uniform. As I said before we had to represent the school proudly and nicely. The Opera house was pretty full and at 12 the pricegiving began. We sang songs, listened to solos and there were quite a few speaches, which actually weren't that boring. Then we had the actual pricegiving, so every student was called out and got a certificate or a trophee, and clapping everytime. My hands were a bit numb at the end. They also said which scolarship everybody got, and some got scolarships for 50.000$ which is excellent! This whole ceremony lasted 2 hours, then we could go back by bus and go home.
So I was home earlier than usually but I was extremly tired, so I just lay for some time on my bed to relax. But the day actually wasn't that exciting, so it made me feel even more tired..
I'm already looking forward to tomorrow, because outdoor education starts and we are going to go to Cape Kidnappers!!:D
Quand même je suis sûre que la cérémonie était belle.
ReplyDeleteBravo pour la pizza.
