Beach Day

On Monday, was the beach day. So we went with the van to the beach and the waves were really big! It was really nice but really exhausting!
The weather was nice in the morning when we were still at school, but next to the beach it was really windy and the sun vanished..

The waves were big and the stream was really strong, even going into two sides, so you would alway be pull onto one side of the sea. We had to listen really well to the surf instructors and they were giving us signals to get out of the water and walk the beach up, because the stream just took us away. This actually happened a few times, and the waves were really strong, so it was hard to move forward, but it was nice. There was a surfsession in the morning and then we had fish and chips for lunch, but actually there was no fish:p and then we had a second session, which was nice but still really rough, even more than before. The others which weren't surfing, actually hadn't anything to do and were just sitting on the beach and being cold..

Later on we had to leave because the stream was too strong, and we were all pretty exhausted anyway.

After that we got an icecream-rainbow ice. really yumm- and then came back to Havelock. When I arrived at the house I was just so tired, so I took a nap..

It was a nice but really exhausting day!
