On Thursday, we all went rafting.
Meeting at school at quater to eight, which was pretty early and we soon got started because we had to first drive one hour in the van to get to the place the rafting takes place. When we arrived we got a few instructions, a wetsuit, fleece and a waterproof pullover. Everything was blue, so we kind of looked like smurfs.
After we were dressed, our lunch in waterproof bags we drove 40 more minutes with the bus to get to the place where we would be starting from. In the bus we got some more instructions and we made a little photostop to see how the river looks like.
At the real riverstart place, we got a helmet and a lifejacket, sunblock and we divided our selves into 3 groups, so there were 5 or 6 people on a raft. There were also 2 Kajaks there.
When we got started we did a few exercices, like all back, rowing back, all forward, rowing forward and so on. But I must say we actually didn't have to paddle a lot! The river has a nice stream and it brings you forward without paddling, which is really nice and not to exhausting. We went to streams and moving river. We also went into a cave which was really dark. The only thing they said is keep your arms close to your body, same as your head. And they said that some goldminors had spread goldsprinkles inside the cave. But when our crew leader put a little light on, there were some really creapy insects everywhere around and it was really creapy!!!
We also did a clifdive, which was nice, a kajak jumped from the cliff too, but the water was really cold and we had to swim to the boat which was kind of a pain. But it was a real adrenalinkick jumping down the cliff!
Sorry that I only write now, but I was really tired after the Outdoor education..
Cela a l'air super sportif quand même.... J'attends la suite des aventures des Schtroumpfs avec impatience....
