On Thursday, it was an international meeting at our school, so internationals all over Hawke's bay came over and we came closer and had nice activities. The international came from 6 different schools! So in the morning we were in the gymnasium and doing a army challange, which was about team work, cooperation, intelligence and speed.
The Havelock North team lost.
Later on, we had morning tea and then we met outside and other challanges were waiting for us.
First there was pull the rope, Havelock lost again.
Then a stole challange, we got third of four.
The brazilian exchange students preparing the BBQ.
The other challange was about frowing a egg and another person had to catch it. It was about who could frow and catch the egg the fares as possible. We got third again. You can see a picture of my friend Priscilla, waching some egg liquid from her hands. We did this challange together and I think I threw the egg to hard and it just smashed in her hands. But it even smashed into the face of someone else, so that must have felt way worse..
There also has been a bike challange, we actually got last, because we missed a whole round, but the second last runner thought she was the last so everyone thought we were first..
As you can see, it was pretty cloudy.
We all more or less enjoyed the dinner, I got some hashbrowns and the rest chicken or other meat on toast and some chocolate bars for desert.
After dinner, some people went swimming, but nobody from our school, we all knew how cold the water was. Then weplayed football, volleyball and rugby. We talked, laught and later the other internationals left. We had to stay at school and clean the grill and then I went to the village with two friends, we were sitting a bit there and eating a cinnamon roll.
You can see that I really got sunburned, my hostmom explained me that when it's cloudy but fair, that's when you get the most sunburned, I'm the proof!
Ah, c'est une bonne idée de rencontrer d'autres étudiants internationaux. Bon, les épreuves, les épreuves.... En tous cas, on voit bien que tu étais dehors, même avec nuages. Impressionant!
