On sunday, we had to put the time one hour forward. So now it's still light later in the night and the sun rises later. I think that'S really nice, but I hope it will be light in the morning when I have to go to school again!
The day was then shorter than usual. I got up in time and just relaxed and then at around 12 I wen to Napier with my hostmother and my eldest hostsister who was over here for a couple of day.
So that was the first time I was in Napier and I have to say that it is a very pretty town with nice art deco houses. I really prefer it to Hastings, it also has a very comfortable climate and is right next to the sea. We walked along the shopping lane and my hostsister and mother bought several things. It was really nice and after a couple of hours, my hostmother offert us some icecream and we sat next to the beach eating it.
Napier is in fact a pretty new city, because a earthquake has really destroied it and so it had to be rebuild a lot. During the earthquake, big parts of the beach fell into the water same as some parts of the port and some other parts rised.
There is a nice promenade along the sea and we had a nice view to Cape Cidnappers.
After that, we went back to Havelock and I prepared myself for going at my friend Sofie's house. She is leaving quite far from my place, so it took me around 40 minutes to get to her, but it was a wonderful walk and the sun was shining nicely.
So when I arrived, we soon went for a walk with the dogs again. She lives next to a reserve where the dogs can run around without a leach and it really nice because it's a forest, which is really interesting. As soon as we came back, we had dinner, mashed potatoes, carots, brocoli and an omlet for met, gravey for the others. We ate at the table, which was nice because I miss a bit eating at a dinnertable and not infront of TV. Then we watched New Zealand's got Talent while eating icecream and ananas for desert:) It's been some time I haven't eaten desert. And then I had a nice camomille tea, because Sofie's hostfamily is british, so they had really good tea. And then we ate some chocolate while watching a new australian series called "place to call home", which was really nice too.
Then we went to bed and talked, and then slept;)
Der Globus ist dazu da um entdeckt zu werden.

Saturday
On Saturday, Carla and me woke up in time and had a nice breakfast. Then we went to the village and Carla had to post some letters and she tried to get money trough her credit card, which wasn't working anymore lately.. Then we went to McDonald's and had a McFlurry, which is a very yummy treat and I am a very slow eater, especially with sweet things, so I was really enjoying the icecream.
Then we went back to the village and Carla had to buy some things at the supermarket. Then she tried again and her credit card finally worked again. It was pretty scary and I really hope that nothing like that will happen to me... Then we went to have a nice lunch at Subway, but after that I was really full and my stomach was almost exploding..
Then we went back to my house and then soon Carla left again. Then I just had a relax day afterwards:)

friday, last day of term 3!
So Friday, was a day like the other, and in our cooking class, we made mini pancakes! They were really yummy!:)
Otherwise, the day was like the other days and we had an internatinal meeting because 3 IS were leaving New Zealand to go back home. They had a little speach and a few kids were pretty sad to let them go..
In my Media Studies class, we watched Hunger Games, which was nice. Afterwards, Rikke and Carla, came to my house and I did my jobs. Then I got changed and we went to Rikke's house. There Rikke got changed and we went to the village, borrowed a movie and bought a few sweets and then we had a nice evening at Rikkes house, where we cooked chili con carne and I had a quiche and then we watched a movie-Magic Mike. It was really nice and later on Rikke's hostmom dropped Carla and me at my house off and then we were already pretty tired and went soon to bed:)
So that was a very nice day, and I still can't believe that term 3 is over now!

Thursday
This morning I went to school in time and school was fine:) we had study, so I was bored again, but I survived. In history I red again in the Historybook and in the cooking class, we made some pavelovas, which is like meringue with coconut. They were really yummy! But they have to stay 1 hour in the oven, so we just left them in and then went away even before the bell rang.
So we went into the schoolvan and then the adventure started. Our fisrt time surfing! So the busdrive didn't take long at all and the beach just looked wonderful, with the different colors of the sea. It was amazing to look at and the sand as really soft and white and no crabs or mussels, so that was very compfortable for the feet and everything. So we arrived and we had to get fast into our wet suit. Then we all got a surfboard and then we carried it to the beach. There we first did some dry exercice-how to jump on the board, so you have to "lock" your feet at the back of the board, and keep your hands on its sides and right enxt to your chest. And then you have to pull your upperbody up-like the half cobra in Yoga or Pilates- and then sit down on your feet or almost and the put one feet in front, but not straight but in a 45 degree angle and then stand up.. Ohh and you have to visionize the wave and start padelling..And keep the balance, and and and... But it was so much fun. So at first when I got with the feet into the water, it was pretty cold, but ti soon got warmer, especially if you are moving and everything, you don't even think about that anymore. But the teacher were really nice. There were 2 guys and always helped to catch a good wave and gave good advice. So the surfing is really a lot of fun and I absolutly want to do that again! After the holidays, our international director will take us every week to the beach:) But the water is really salty, so my eyes were pretty sore and my mouth tasted totally dryed out.. so I went out of the water 10 minutes earlier and joined another friend, so we finally had more time to get chenged, which was good too:)
And went we came back to school, it just rang and we could go and eat the pavelovas in the room or take them home, but they were really deliscious!

Wednesday
So Wednesday, was one of my relaxed days again. But that was totally allright. So school was good, just like the other days and now that this term is almost finished, the teacher basically stop teaching and just say revise what you have to do for your final exams. So in history for example I am just reading in a historybook, which is perfectly fine too:) And we got informed who won the head student election, so that is the student which is talking to the parent assembly about what are the student requests and things like that. The boy who won is really nice but I think it is also a lot about popularity, but it was fun to vote, so I'm fine with that:) In fact I voted one day earliery during my formclass, because my formteacher knew he would be away the next day, but that was perfectly fine too.
Now my friends are buying their summer uniform but I already have one hanging in my wardrobe, so I don't need to buy one:)
And I never mentionned that but in fact you have to pay fees for the final exams, to pay the inspectors and things like that, I think it's funny to pay for an exam, and I'm not used to that, all my exams in Luxembourg are for free :p
And ther was a fashion show at our school so all the students who were in fabrics, could present their creations. This seemed really nice and my hostsister sewed a beautiful dress and she had stayed a lot of nights at school to finish the dress. But sadly that day, she has done a wrong cut and the dress had a mistake and she couldn't fix it anymore, so she couldn't participate at the fashionshow, which made her really sad, and I felt a bit bad for her too, because she had put so much effort into it and had a lot of pressure to finish it in time...

Tuesday
Today, I went for the first time to my French class which replaces the Maori class. The things that they are studying are really easy for me and I was kind of bored during the whole lesson. But tomorrow I can help the other students to write a text or something similar, which would be more interessting.
In my cooking class we made some ham and spinach quiches, which was really nice and we are going to serve these during our hostfamilies dinner! I'm really looking forward to that:)
And in Media Studies I finished our Movie about the Ski-trip, which I am quite proud of!
After school I went to the village with my friend Carla and then we watched Misfits-a series we watch together- while eating a few Tim Tam's. Yummy!!
That was my day!

Monday
Today, the last schoolweek started before the schoolholidays and the end of Term 3.
In the cooking class we just did some planning about the international food week, a week where we are going to cook for our hostfamilies and we seached some ideas about things we can do for the international lunch, so a lunchbreak where we are going to sell food from the different countries we are coming from. I'm already looking forward to that:)
Then I had study class, which was boring as usual, so I played city, county, river with a friend but the teacher got angry, so I had to occupie myself on another way..
Today, 2 girls and I discovered that we don't have anx Maori anymore, because the lessons are over. I didn't really understand that, but now I will probably be transfered into another class. Otherwise I will have some more studytime, and that is defenetly boring..
Then I got my results of my exams in English, where I got achieved, which is okay and the in history I got merit and achieved. So that's pretty good:) My history teacher embaressed me a bit by saying in front of the whole class that they should talke example on me an the other international student, because we both got merits on our essays and gave a big try to our resource texts.
Afte school, I went to play tennis. It was the first time in my entire life I plaayed tennis and I must say it's fun and I did quite well:) I'm really looking forward to playing the next time! At first it was quite hard but then the teacher gave me some tips and advices and it defenetly went better:)
And three students are going to leave after that term, so the school offers them a planeflight over Hawke's Bay, which defenetly a nice gift as a goodbye..
And this is my hundrest post!:D

Sunday
On Sunday, I didn't do anything big. My friend visited me at around noon and then we looked for what nice activities we could do or what are the must sees when our parents are coming. It was really fun and then we went for a walk and I looked for the Bed&Breakfast my parents are going to stay at. It was a very hot day and then I spent the rest of the day reading in a travel guide about New Zealand, where I already learned about a lot of fact I didn't know about!
So that was a quite short Sunday, but I was still tired because of the sleepover at Anna-Lena..
And I had a nice talk with parents!:)

Saturday
This morning, we woke up at 8 o'clock and went upstairs to see the America'S cup. It was quite funny because Anna's family is really involved and firing the New Zealand team activily in front of the TV. It was interesting to see them. They also wore red socks, which are the symbol of supporting the New Zealand Team. The whole cup is made of 17 races, and New Zealand only needs to win one more race to be the winner against the USA, team Oracle. And I see everyday the News about this cup, because it's quite important to New Zealand if they would win and it would be good for the tourism here.
But New Zealand did not win, because the wind was too low, so they could not finish the 5 plots in 40 minutes.. We also ate breakfast in front of TV.
Then Anna's hostfamily left to visit some friends and we stayed there some more. At 10:30 we started a hicking tour, we went up the te mata peak, but it was quite hard, because nobody could drive us up to the car park, so we had to walk there, then we actually didn't went up the peak but took some other ways and lost ourselves. Suddenly we were at another carpark.. So we decided to walk on, because we didn't really want to turn around, so we just kept on walking an that was the right choice. We finally arrived next to Anna's house, which was very strange, but we did it and we were very proud about that. We had a bag with fruit and water and the pack of favorite biscuits I offert Anna for her birthday, so we were all good and we also took a few pictures:)
Then at Anna's house we ate something small while we were watching TV and then we went down, I went back to my homestay and she went to Rikke's house, because International students aren't allowed to stay alone for a night in theif homestay, without a responsable.
So this weekend, my hostmother is on a conference in Auckland and that's why my 22 year old hostsister is here. But otherwise all is the same:)
So it was a exciting but tireing weekend until now!

Friday
Friday, was my day-off day so I didn'T had any exams nor lessons. So I met two friends, Rikke and Ann-Sofie at Havelock. We planned to go to Hastings but we were too early at the busstop, so we went to Subway and ate a little Sandwich, really yummi:)
Finally we took the bus and in Hastings we started our search for the perfect present for Anna-Lena, because it was her birthday. So we first thought to buy some jewlery, then a scarf, but we actually couldn't something we really liked for her. So then we had the idea to give her a card with some trip, to go alltogether to a cupcake shop and a trip to go to the cinema. I really think that was the best thing to do, because it's a great activity and it will be something she can really have memories from.
Then in the evening, we all went to her house and ate some pizza:) from pizza hut. Then we talked, played Singstar-made a few records- and watched a movie. It was a wonderful evening and the ambiance was great. There was also some birthdaycake, which actually tasted really good! Then the others left one after the other and I slept at her house! It was a long night and we talked quite a lot:)

Thursday
Thursday, I had a nice day with my friend Anna-Lena. We both only had normal lesson during the first two periods and then we met right after and went to my house. There we changed our cloths, and then we walked into town and went to McDonalds. That was the first time since I have been in New Zealand that I have eaten an McDonalds burger:p We talked a lot and sat there for quite a long time, but it was really nice and the McDonalds was totally empty:)
Then we walked back to the village because the McDonalds ins't really in the village but still close to it. So we didn't acctually really know what to do, so we had a look if there was a cafe that had free tables, but everything was full, so we just bought something in a cofe shop, I chose a scone and Anna took a big cookie and an cappucino. Then we went to a parc an sat there on a bench. There two girls we know joined us for a short time and then we went back to my house. There we played a round of Kniffel and talked. Then Anna had to go for her homeway. But it was a great day with her!

Ventilators at night
Around the place I am staying, so around Havelock there are quite a lot of fields with apples for example. At the moment the days are getting hotter, spring is coming so flower start growing out of these apple will come later. But the nights are sometimes cold, around 1 degree, so it is still freezing. To prevend the loss of all these flowers, the farmers rent helicopters with ventilators to make the hot air go down so that there is no frost. This is very expencive, it costes 15.000 $ per hour but it's the only way to save their crop. So sometimes during the night you can hear loud noises which are these helicopters.
Wednesday
Yesterday wass my day off and I slept very long and then I studied for my history exam I had today.
Today I could sleep again bacaus emy exam only started in the afternoon, at 1:20 pm. so I was able to eat at the house and then go for school. The exam was made out of two part, the essay part and the unfamiliar text part, or out of two essays. I took the firt choice and it went very good for my essay about the Berlin Wall, you had to talk about the causes and consequences of an important historical event and then you had 8 different sources to analyse and read, like texts, carricatures or leaflets and then answer 3 questions. Otherwise you could have also choosen to write an essay about an important historical event that influenced the New Zealanders. The resource textes were about the 1951 waterfront Dispute. This is when there was a the biggest strike between the workers and their employes.
I thought this was the hard part. The essay about the Berlin Wall went quite well I think and I am good with it, but the unfamiliar resources was hard and I didn't really understood too much.. But okay, I tried and that's the most important!
Tomorrow, I have the first two lesson digital technology and then my week is over!! YAY! After these lessons I will meet with a friend and we will see what we will do:)
Today, it was very sunny but quite cold, especially when the wind was blowing..
The 1951 waterfront dispute
The waterfront dispute of 1951 was the biggest industrial confrontation in New Zealand’s history. Although it was not as violent as the Great Strike of 1913, it lasted longer – 151 days, from February to July – and involved more workers. At its peak, 22,000 waterside workers (wharfies) and other unionists were off the job, out of the country's population of just under two million.
The 1951 confrontation was the culmination of decades of unrest on the wharves. The waterfront occupied a strategic place in New Zealand’s export economy and had long been a flashpoint of industrial conflict. This country’s two largest strikes prior to 1951 – in 1890 and 1913 – were both largely centred on the wharves.
The dispute took place in a climate of Cold War suspicion. The opposing sides denounced each other as Nazis, Commies, traitors and terrorists. It polarised politics and split the union movement, leaving a bitter legacy that lingers to this day. The combatants could not even agree on what to call the dispute – the employers and government described it as a strike, but to the waterside workers it was a lockout.
I thought this was the hard part. The essay about the Berlin Wall went quite well I think and I am good with it, but the unfamiliar resources was hard and I didn't really understood too much.. But okay, I tried and that's the most important!

New Zealand Marks
In New Zealand there are some actual marks, but they commenly mark with achieved, merit and exellance and not achieved. So exellance is the best and students who get a lot of exellance get congratulations from the head teacher in front of the whole school, so that really is a big honor.
exciting Monday
Today, I got up as usual, but I was really excited.. I only ate a youghurt because I was so nervous and then I re-read all the things in my english folder, so everything is freshly in my head. I hopped into my uniform and the exam should go from 9 to 12, so it was 9:45 and I was desperately worried to be too late.. But I arrived perfectly in time, the classroom was almost emty and everything went on fine.
On every desk 4 booklets were laying there and waited to be filled out. So we had 3 hours to fill in a booklet with 3 unknown textes, where you had to analyse and respond to a long question, so some writing. Another booklet about a movie or other oral or visual text, so there were 8 questions and you could choose the one you wanted to answer. And the third booklet was about a novel that had been red and analysed in class. I sadly wasn't yet at school when they did this, so I had to skip that part. But I was really eager and happy to write it all! I really tried my best and wrote quite a lot I would say, so I'm quite proud of me and happy that I did it. So this exams are giving an provisory mark and gives the student an idea and shows him how much he should study more.
My teacher congratulated me for giving such an effort and he sais I did so well. But I was acctually only thinking, he hadn't red what I have written at that stage.. So I hope he won't be too disapointed but I was really happy that I did it! In fact I only have one more exam on Wednesday in history, because my teacher told me I shouldn't go to my Media Studies exam, because I missed the whole theory part, so I wouldn't even know what to write, but I still would have gone. But now, I defeitely don't have to go.
Tomorrow I have a free day, so no exams nor lessons, so I can stay at home all day long. I hope to go for a walk or a biketour to enjoy a bit the weather, just as I did today. It's defeitely getting warmer and warmer everyday and I really look forward to be able to jump in the pool!
My hostsister told me that the finalexams would be very different, because it's very strict. The walls are all covered with paper and the students all have a studentnumber. Everystudent, studentnumber has a desk with a closed envelop where the examsheets are in. The actual teachers aren't allowed to be part of all this, but external workers from NZQA are coming and supervising everything. You aren't allowed to take a pencilcase with you, your stationary must be in a plastic zipbag. Your cellphone must be in a plasticbag under your desk, visible for the supervisors. If you had a clash, which means that you have two exams on the same time, you have to change one of them, so you are in a class with some others. If that would happen, they have to isolate you, so that you defenitely have no chance for cheating. This would make me so nervous, only to hear all these rules is already stressful. There is an immense pressureon the students for these exams!
So these were my first examexpierences, which were really great:)

relaxed Sunday
today, I accutally didn't do a lot. First I slept very long, which was very nice and I have sleeping troubles for the moment, so it was nice to have a good sleep.
Then I ate something and looked a bit over the material I have for my benchmark in History. Tomorrow, I have the English exam in the morning, so after the exam is finished, I can just go home. I'm a bit excited, but it doesn't really makes a difference which mark I get, eventhough I couldn't read the novel they are writing the exam about, I only saw the movie..
And now, I'm soon going to skype again with my parents! That was it.

Tireing Saturday!
This morning I first of all went for a run and then walk. The weather was really goodd, so it was really relaxing but also exhausting to do this, but I am happy I did.
Then I ate something little for lunch and prepared myself to go Bowling!
I got a ride from my friend Sophie's hostmother there and when we arrived, there were already quite a lot of people there. Then everybody had to borrow their shoes and sign in. There were around 50 people there from Hastings, Havelock and maybe a few from Napier. Everybody had a little sign on their shirt with their names on it and we soon started bowling. I was very fun and I really enjoy bowling.
There was even a brazilian boy from Wellington who came here, and I met new people from Germany, Thailand and Belgium for example. The first round I got third of my group, but almost second.. Then we got something to eat, fried potatoes, fish, springrolls and food in this genre. And everybody could have a drink. Then th second round I got second and then at 7 my hostmother picked us up.
It was a very fun afternoon! And even if this were only 3 hours, I was really tired afterwards, because everybody is talking and shouting and so on, and it was very tireing.. But nice!!

Skitrip part 5
And hop, everybody has to get up!!
Do the jobs one more time, clean your room, pack up, eat breakfast, clean the lodge, the kitchen, the heatingroom, the lounge!
Everything had to go very fast to be ready as soon as possible.
Then the first bus and the car drove away, but the second bus wasn't working anymore! So around 8 peoople, including me had to wait for around 1 hour for the bus to be repaired. A mechanican had to come up the mountain and tried to make the van work. We already prepaired ourselves to spend one more night in the lodge, but we didn't mind:p
Finally we could leave, which was quite sad.. So we drove a few hours until we stopped in Taupo where the other were too and had lunch. We could go wherever we wanted and we had around 1 hour time. I had a sandwish at Subway which was delicious and then a McFlurry at McDonalds (an icecream). It was nice, because the town is next to the lake, so we were sitting around on benches and watched the lake.
And then at around 4:30 we arrived at the school, everything ha dto be packed up and an amazing skiweek had passed. I was very tired!!
When we arrived, Carla came to my house because her hostfamily's car was broken.. At around 6 pm her hostfather picked her up and I went to bed very early that day. That was also the day when I met my hostsister Brooke which is lovely!
It was a great experience and we had really a lot of fun!!

skitrip part 4
On the last skiday, it was first of all unsure if we would go skiing, because the weather was very bad. It was raining, very foggy.. But the teachers decided that we should go and that's what we did.
This day, we were again 4, so Carla, Rikke and Sofie, and me. As we arrived at the top, carrying our skis on our shoulders and our shoes we needed to walk later back to the lodge, we discovered that only one lift was working in the whole ski area. We locked our shoes at the skidepot. That the lift wasn't working was a big deception. So we did a few time the same slope, but it was kind of boring to do everytime the same slope. So and the it started to rain harder, so we went into a little cafe next to the slope and met some others waiting there until the rain ends. Anyway, the decision if the upper lift would be opened would only fall at 11:30 so we still had more then one hour to pass. So we sat there, talked, made pictures and filmed a bit.
At around 12, we were still there and some of my friends bought something to eat. Finally, we convinced ourselves to go up again and check if they opened the lift. But we were disapointed, the lift wasn't open. So we rode the same slope some more 10 times or so. Rikke didn't have any motivation left and decided to go back to the lodge. Later on we followed and arrived quite early at the lodge. But it was getting very boring and the snow was in a bad condition, very brown and not nice for skiing.
At the lodge, we played a bit with card, baked some hockey pockey biscuits and some scones. Later on, at around 4 we went to the hotpools again, the last time. It was nice and we could wash our hair:)
In the evening we ate our dinner and talked quite a lot around the fireplace. It was nice and a good ending to our skitrip. Sadly, there were also quite a lot of people who stayed on their own in their rooms..
Suddenly the teacher told us to take our shoes with us, because they smelled some smoke and there was a small possibility that there could be a fire. So in the case of such an emergency, we had to be prepared.
Then we had to go to bed, but in my room, nobody could sleep. We were eating some candies and talking until quite late into the night. I was nice and the teacher came in a few times, but we just couldn't sleep. And then we heard an alarm and I got a little bit of panic, but it was only the timer of the oven. So it stopped it and we could go relaxed back to our rooms. We made a little walk through the corridor and heard some people speak, so Rikke listed on the door. But the door wasn't closed properly and opened itself, so we quickly ran into our rooms. Then a japanese boy came into our room and asked if we were the ones who had opened the door and we just laughed. And then a teacher came in and the boy had to hide behind our door. The teacher saw him, but didn't say anything. Then after the teacher had left he left too.
Then we decided to do a last movie but then 4 teachers came into our room and threatened us, that one of us would have to sleep in their room if we don't come down.
That was the moment when we really came down and concentrated on going to sleep.
The photos aren't from the last day, because no photos of the last day exist, because of the bad weather...

Thursday
Yesterday, I finally made my visa, which is good, because I was starting to be worried.. There were a lot of documents that had to be filled in and I had to do some passfotos for it..
Otherwise it was a calm day, with a lot of studyclasses and not much to talk about. I stayed at school only until lunch and I went then back home, because I didn't feel well..

Friday
Today, I stayed all day long at school and I finally don't feel ill anymore! I'm happy because I'm going to go bowling tomorrow, with friends and in fact it is an meeting for all international students in New Zealand. But a lot of them won't be able to come, because they live farer away, but there will be around 50 people for sure, which is already quite a lot!
At school everybody is still revising for the exams next week! To everybody is quite stressed and some are working during the breaks.
In our cookingclass I did some brownies, which were a bit grilled, but our teacher told us to put it all together in a pot and to eat it with icecream. I will see it that tastes good. Otherwise, the other brownies were very good and I got the ones from a friend:)
Otherwise I had a Maori test today at school, I got 27 out of 30, which isn't bad I guess. I haven't been too long in this course, but I still got better then some Kiwikids..
An international student celebrated her birthday today, and we ate some cake. Sadly, a chinese exchainge student, who has stayed now for 6 weeks, had his last schoolday..
Anyway, in fact I only have 4 "normal" schoolweeks left, because next week is the exam week and the week after is a normal week again, then 3 more weeks in term 4, so after 2 weeks holidays and then, we have outdoor education, that means we are going to do activities, kajaking, rafting and other things like that during the schooltime. The Kiwistudents are studying for their finalexams during that time.
The last days the weather was wonderful, but appearently, it is going to rain this weekend which is really sad.
In digital technology, I'm working on my third workbook and this one is from level 3, that means for students of year 13. I'm quite excited because the teacher told me I'm too good for the ones from level 2.
A friend of mine had to leave school because she got sick and has a virus, so she's not going to participate for the bowling..
And it's finally Friday, another week is over and my stay a
in New Zealand is passing by fast.

romeo and juliet
This is a modern version of the tail of Shakespear Romeo and Juliet. It is a New Zealand movie with around 40 songs in it. The actors are New Zealand models and the movie has a very good rating!

wednesday
Today i went to school again, which was very refreshing because it's getting a bit boring to staya all day in bed or in the house. I must say I only stayed the morning, because then I got cramps again and went home, but otherwise it was nice to talk to my friends again:)
In New Zealand cooking we did some good and some burned naan breads, which was really fun and they tasted very good!
And then I haven't slept during the day, so I hope I will be able to fall easily asleep this evening.. Right now, my stomach is hurting again, but that's a constant state of mine, so it's almost fine.
Then on Saturday, there is a bowling game for all the international students of Hawke's bay, which is going to be really fun and I really would like to go there and I hope I will feel good again until then.
At school everybody is preparing themselves for the exams and it's strange to see everybody work so intensly and I partly don't even have exams. The exams are next week and there are dates set for every subject. So for example I have on Monday, from 9 to 11 english exam. When I'm done I can go home and there are also subjects, like cooking, where I don't even have any exams, and on these days we can just stay at home:D

Monday
This is a new week and I am still sick.. The weather is getting better and better and the benchmark exams are coming closer..
Today, I did a bloodtest to see which illness I'm suffering from.. I hope they will be able to find something.
Otherwise two internationals fainted today, which is quite scary..
Here they all say Kindergarten for playschool, which is funny because it's a german word:)

Long weekend
I have a very long weekend, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and until now I wasn't able to do anything.. I have been to the doctor's today, because I still feel so miserable, but he wasn't able to tell me what's wrong with me.. If my health isn't getting better, I will have to do a bloodtest on Monday.. I will see how I feel.
Tomorrow, there is bonecarving at school, that means you can corve forms for a neckless or something similar out of a bone. This is a typical Maori thing to do and a great souvenir. I hope I will feel good enough to go there, because I really don't want to miss that..

Wednesday and Thursday
The last days I have been sick again.. That's really annoying me but it's getting better and tomorrow I will maybe go to Hastings with friends again. I would enjoy that. So I acctually haven't anything interessting to say.
Sadly, one more exchange student left today morning, he's off to Germany. I hadn't an occasion to say goodbye to him, which is quite sad..
Tomorrow, there is no school, because it's only-teacher's day, so only the teachers have to go to school, that's why I can go to Hastings tomorrow. So we're having a long weekend, which is great:)

Tuesday
Today, was a nice and relax day, but I was terrebly tired.. So nothing important happend at school, but everybody is preparing themselves for the benchmark exams, which are in two weeks. The pressure is getting higher on everybody..
My head is still hurting because of the paintball, but it's getting better. I have a very nice blue bruise on my shoulder.. It's really terrible to brush my hair, because the bruise it right on my scalp and I realized today that I have a second bruise on my head.
When I came back from school today, I had a nice two hours nap:)
sadly, there is a girl which has to change her hostfamily, because her hostmother was an alcoholic and was priviledging her own son. So now she is living at the homestay coordinators house. She is very homesick, so she is crying quite a lot, which is very sad..
In Maori I learned today, that it can be possible that sometimes in certain cultures, the husband takes the last name of his wife, for exemple when she is the last in her bloodline with this last name. So thanks to that, her name will continue to live trew the following generations!
Today, the weather was very nice but appearnetly it will be the nicest day this week, which isn'T so good..

Paintball
Today, after school, I went to Paintball with some others. It was really fun, but a bit painful..
So right after school we met in front of school and we went with the van or car to the paintball field. It was near Hastings but a bit in the no-where.
We had to get into jumpsuits, which can get dirty and we all got masks. The most important rule is to not take of your helmets! Because the only thing which can acctually get hurt are the eyes, so that's the most important thing to respect.
So we were into two teams and everybody had a paintball gun which 50 ball munition. You were allowed to shot at somebody who was at least 2 rows of cannisters away from you, because otherwise it would hurt too much.. When you were shot you had to leave the field, with your hand in the air and run around the pole. When yoou didn't have any munition anymore you had to leave the field with your hand high in the air.
The first game consited to get a flag which was in the middle of the field and to get it to the concurrentside. Everytime you get shot you have to run around a pole at the end of your field. It was very funny and I was the last of my team that survived.. So I was on my own with the flag in my hand. I have been shot hardly on my head and neck.. So I had to run around the pole but then I had to leg the flag there, so I finally lost, but it was very fun! Sadly the shot in my head was really hard and it's still hurting a lot and swollen. But I hope it's going to be better soon.
Then we had a second game, were we started back to back with one of our rivals and then the owner of the paintball center shouted walk, so we could walk and hide behind one of the canisters. then the goal was simply to shoot somebody of the opposite team. Everytime you got shot, you had to go back one cannister. So the winning team pushed their rivals into their own end of the field. I was also very fun!
I got quite a lot of hard shots, around 5 in my head and neck, throat, then a few on the leg and one on the shoulder.. I got bruises, but I have to say it was worth it!

Sunday
Today is Fathers day in New Zealand, so happy fathers day Daddy! :) I love you
Skitrip part 3
The second skiday, the weather was quite bad, it was very foggy, but me and my two skiingpartners went up the mountain until the very top. we could not see a lot but we decided to take a T-bar lift which was going quite high and when we arrived to the top of the lift, the seight was clear again and you could see where you were going, wonderful.
So in fact we were above the clouds. So we went down one slope and decided to take the same lift again, but sadly when we arrived at the top for our second time, the clouds were everywhere, and we weren't able to see a lot.. So to go back down, a men helped us and guided us. But then suddenly I just fell down the slope, because there are no fences or similar things, so you don't really know when the slope stopps.. But it wasn't steep so I could get up immediately;) But it was very tiring, because you can't see anything and you have to concentrate to always find the right way.
Then after some more slopes, we went back to the lodge for lunch and then we went back up the hill with 3 other Snowboarder, so we were 6 which was perfectly fine too and we had a lot of fun:)
In the evening more and more slopes were closed, so we didn't have a very big choice of slopes we could do, but that was fine.
Back at the lodge we made scones and went again to the hot pools. That day, not a lot of people went there, but it was still fine:)
And then one more wonderful and delicous dinner! But everybody was quite tired and the cramps already started..
everybody had jobs to do and had to wash their own dishes

sunday
I just went for a walk and surprise I heard at least 3 people mow their grass! But it's Sunday! So in Luxembourg and around it's not allowd to do things in the garden which are loud.. Here the people obviously don't care here:p
otherwise I didn't do much today, I'm still feeling not so super good, but I though a walk must help and the sun was partly shining so that was very nice!
