La Flecha del Rompio- Virgin beach on an island

The Day started at Puerta Jerez, a place in the center of town with a lot of restaurants and bars. It is close to the Plaza de Espana. We took the bus at 9, or around 9 because the Spanish time is very flexible.

After a bit more than 2 hours of driving in the bus, we arrived at port from which we took a boat to go over the beach which is on an island. The boat ride took about 2 minutes.

From the boat we had to walk a bit to the other side of the island.

There it was, the virign beach.

There is no tree,no cover from the sun, which was fatal for me.

Untouched nature and nobody as far as you can look.

A very peachful and silent environment, were you just feel like in paradise. Reading and napping in the sun.

At about 7, we left the island again. We went back to the boat through the wooden paths.

And arrived again at the port on the other side. There the bus to head back home was already waiting for us and at 21:30, we were back in Sevilla.

Sevilla - city center

Sevilla is the capital of the region Analusia. It is a culturally very rich city. It has a lot of arabic influences because I was invaded by the Arabs some time ago. You can notice this alot in architecture which has often mosaics and arabic designs.

I don't live in the center but in Sevilla Este which is a bit more than half an hour from the center.

I will post a few photos of the city center to give you an idea what it looks like.

I always love to see how arabic and spanish architecture and style are mixed

plaza San Lorenzo,
this is where my language school is located. It is very well kown for its church which plays an important role in the "semana santa"

This is the plaza nueva, which is in the center of the old town and the cathedral and big shopping streets are close by.

This is the cathedral. It is well know in the whole world and its tower is called "la Giralda". It is probably the most important symbol of Seville.
