flag

In New Zealand, there will be a referendum soon and one of the questions will be if they keep their flag with the Union Jack on it or replace it with a black flag and a silver fern on it. The silver fern is already a symbol for New Zealand and is set on all the emblems of the national sports team, as the All Blacks for example, the world famous New Zealand Rugby team.

Here is an article about that theme in french:

Back on the screen

I guess it has been a really long time I haven't written anything down here, but I thought it's about time again! Especially, when you consider I had been posting so much in here about all my experiences!

So it's now over a year ago, that I left Luxembourg to go to New Zealand! It has been such a wonderful time full of adventures and getting to know new things. It had been hard to reintigrate in my old life in Luxembourg, especially on school basis. I had to catch up a whole lot of things and in the social life quite a few things changed, as it changes very often in the teenage years, breakup, couples, drugs, alcohol... Anyway, now I'm in 2e that means I ahve only two more years till I graduate and go to uni! School is getting stressfull and takes a big place in my life.

In New Zealand, I have to admit that I let myself go and I gained a lot of weight. I guess this is the concequence of my unactivity there and the fact that I had been sick a lot. Back at home, I had to adopt my old food manners back and be more concious about what I eat and what kind of activity I do. That way I lost 10 kg again. Finally back to the size I was before. Eventhough it took some time, it's totally worth it, to feel good again.

Otherwise, I now have a boyfriend and I am happy as I never had ever been before. He is wonderful and helps me to manage my everyday life.

So, back at home I now continue to do the activities I have been doing before, I go to the orchestra, my chinese lessons, theatre and I go to the fitness centre. I am quite busy and the fact that I have my Learner's driver lesson takes some practice time as well. On addition of this, I will start to give some private lessons to a boy at my school once a week. At weekend I go out into nightclubs or parties.

But none of the less, I still love to travel and I will post soon again about the places I have been since New Zealand, which have been quite a few, like Paris and Bruxel.

Keep connected and travelling!
