review over the last days
On Friday, I first went to school to give some stuff back and talk to Mr. K. Then he gave me a ride to the village where I met Rikke, Carla, Sofie and Lucas. It was a sort of farewell for him, because he would leave in the morning on Saturday. After we had said goodbye, the girls and I went to Hastings to say good bye to Priscilla who took the bus in Hastings to go to Wellington, where her South island trip started. Before we met her, we went to eat Fish and Chips at Breakers, a surfer cafe and it was deliscious! It was a pretty sad moment to see Priscilla go into the bus, there were quite a lot of people and we were all quite close to tears. Some cried.. After the bus had left, we made a little stop at Subway and then off to Cotton on, because we had to spend 1 hour to take the bus.
Saturday, was a mugging around day. Some swimming and tanning, nice!
Sunday, I went to the supermarket to buy some food for our tramping trip with Mr. K, but when I was in the supermarket, I got a phonecall that we wouldn'T be going to that trip because the teacher had the troat infection, so I was lucky I didn't buy anything! So we finally didn't do that trip.
On Monday I went to the doctor's again ot check on my leg, a nurse made me a new dressing, but she said everything is fine. After that I went to Rikke's where Carla, Wiebke and Sofie were and we all went together to buy lunch at new world, eat it in the village and then went to the village pool. That was very nice, it was warm and the water was too. There weren't a lot of people so it was even better. Then at around 4 the smaller children arrived because school was over for them for the day. So after that we all left, Sofie and I were the last, because the others had appointments and had to leave earlier. So when I was on my way home, Rikke's hostmom drove past me with Rikke and the y gave me a ride home. Rikke is very keen on running and on the weekend she went to Hamilton to have a running copetition, which is pretty exciting I thought, but it actually turn out that it wasn't that fun for her.. Sadly..
Tuesday was another Relax day!
On Wednesday, I went to the Strawberry patch with Carla, Wiebke, Pedro and another girl, which was here on a holiday, that was nice, i ate a lot of strawberries and after that, I had lunch at McDonalds, with the girls and then walked to Sofie's where we walked the dogs, which was fun!
On Thursday, Sofie, Carla, Emanuel, Alexis, Matthew, Felix and me went for a horseriding treck next to the Mohaka river. It was nice, we met at 11, it was inicially planned at 8 but the weather was bad so we met a few hours later, which enabled a sleep in. First we went to Napier, had our lunch at the beach and enjoyed a nice view at the lookout. Then we drove to th eplace where the horseriding starts and we got changed and everyone got a horse. Soon later we got started, the horses were all very nice and you didn't need to push them or anything. The scenery was very nice and it looked nice with all the trees. What was sad it's that we only did walking almost no trott and no galopp for sure.. Otherwise it was really nice! The other bad thing about it, was it was raining all the time, so we all got very wet, and when I come home the first thing I did was taking a warm shower! Beautiful
On Friday, I got up early and went to Napier with Sofie and her hostdad. She got a piercing in his pharmacy and then he drove us to Hastings, where we were supposed to meet Carla and Wiebke, but that didn't work out. But it still was fun, but very hot! Later on we took the bus back and watched some movies at my place and went for a walk. It was very nice and Sofie stayed at my place overnight because her hostparents weren't at home for the night. On Saturday, Sofie's hostmom passed by at around 11 and they went off to the beach with their dogs. For the rest of the day, I was mugging around. Same for Sunday, I did some tanning and packed my big luggage. I skyped with my friend Sarah in the morning and with my parents in the evening.
Today, I met Sofie at school because we were supposed to pay for our horse treck but there was an organisatory problem, so we couldn't pay. Then we went off to the village, where we had a snack and just sat around and talked for a couple of hours. That was really nice!
Otherwise, now that the water is pretty warm and the weather too (approx. 28C) i go swimming every day, at least once!

Digital Sharing
On Tuesday, Pri and I woke up at 7:20, because Tim's parents made breakfast and the kitchen is open into the lounge. But that was allright, we had a little nap and then Tim came, and then later on, Pri, Paula and I wlaked down to school because we had the digital sharing day. That worked out well and we saw a lot of pictures. Sadly i didn't have my laptop so I couldn't get any photos, but i will do that later on with my friends!
After that we went into the village. When I walked home, my leg hurted really a lot and it was hard to walk..
So on Wednesday, I didn't do anything, because my leg was really sore, even more than before, so I went to the doctors and got some antibiotics and a nice dressing which lasted one week! On Thursday, I stayed at home too, because it was still hard for me to walk, but it was definetly better than before.
After that we went into the village. When I walked home, my leg hurted really a lot and it was hard to walk..

Plane Flight and the mudd slide and cinema!
Since the outdoor education was almost over, we did a Plane Flight on Monday, we flew over Haveock North and a part of Hastings.
We were in very small planes, maximum 4 people could fit in a plane, so 3 students and a pilot. One of these students could fly the plane!
It was a beautiful day, so we had a wonderful view!
I was the co-pilot and i could even fly alone, did some turns and everything! It was great! I was a bit nervous at first but it turned out very well and fun!

After that we went to Mr. Kitchin's place and did mudd sliding, and actually it was nice but I hurt myself. because I didn't wear an overall like Lucas on the photo, but only shorts.. So my skin went off my leg and infected itself. But I still don't regret it! It was probably an unique opportunity and it was fun:)
Later, I took a shower and Pri and I walked up to Tim's place, had dinner there and then went to the cinema with Casey, Pedro, Carla, Paula, Rashid and Jeremy and watched Catching fire. Was nice and we had lot of fun.
Later on Pri and I went to stay at Tim's overnight, we watched Percy Jackson and then went to bed. Everybody was already really tired!
Pri and I slept in the lounge and there were around 4 clocks there which made quite some noise but we were so tired that we just immediately fell asleep!
weekend
On Saturday, Priscilla came to my house and we then went to Hastings with my hostmom. We went to quite a lot of shops, Warehouse, K-MArt, Postie, Farmers, Cotton on and a few others. It was a big shopping day and we had lunch at Subway. But I think we both did good deals and bought nice things. I bought some shoes, because I really needed some confortable shoes! I found some very nice ones in an espadrille style! YAY!
Later on we met two friend, Casey and Pedro and together we planned to go to Tim's house and do some pizza there. We got a ride with Casey's parents, after buying some ingredients for the pizza at New World.
At Tim's Esther and Paula joined us and soon we started doing the pizza, eating and we had a wonderful pudding, some dough filled with apples and cinnamon! Deliscous! After a cup of tea, we went back to my house at around 10:30 and Pri stayed over night.
It was a very nice evening, with guitar, pizzas with too much cheese and a lot of fun!
On Sunday, we went to the village because we were supposed to brunch together with our mates. But when we arrived, nobody was there..
So we walked to New World before, because we were way too early there, bought a packed of biscuits and a bottle of water. And it was already 1, so we started to get hungry, and still nobody was there.. So we walked to the cafe, nobody, the village, nobody... Then we went to McDonalds to have some Wi-fi and sent them a message on fb, but the wi-fi didn't work properly.. When we finally walked back to the cafe, they were there and we could finally eat, so the bruch had become a lunch, rather a late lunch at Subway again.. That was the Subway weekend!
Then we borrowed the Hunger Games at a video shop and we watched it at Pedro's house. Before, we bought some chocolate and Popcorn! Pri's hostmom came in the middle of it, but we had seen it anyway;)
That was a really nice weekend!

Beach day
Friday, was another beach day! Surfing in the morning, beautiful day, sun and nice waves. Later we had lunch-fish and chips!
Then we had another half surfday, but i didn't go, I was pretty cold so I went for a walk with Lucas and we bought an ice cream. After that I went a bit Kajaking in the ocean, which is actually really exhausting, but a lot of fun!
I did a bit of tanning, but I got very, very sunburned...

On Thursday we went kajaking, we first had to warm up in the pool, did a few exercices, races and finally played Kanoe Polo and actually we were playing for quite a while, so we decided to just tstay there. It was planned to kajak in the stream in the village, but everybody was pretty tired so that was totally allright! I was a lot of fun.

Later on we went to the village McDonald because Rikke's hostfamiliy hadn't had Wi-Fi for afew day, so that was the perfect opportunity to have a nice McFlurry! Yummy!

Meeting at 10 in the cooking room and then we just got to start cooking, everybody had a special task and had a job to do. So it went quite fast and salad was done, pavelovas and a lot of other meals. The food teacher, Mrs. Cheetham had also done some vegetarian tarts.

Later on we worked on Sushi, which some japanese girls should have done, but actually there was one 1 japanese girl and the othere were all european or brazilian, trying to do Sushi:p
The evening was really nice! Most of the hostfamilies were there and a lot of students. There was a lot of food. Every hostfamily had to bring something too, so there was a lot to eat and after the main course, each leaver got a certificat of attending school and had to do a speach. There were some tears running down faces, but also laughs.
After this we got pudding!

I was a really nice dinner and it made me really sad that my time is running out with my hostfamily..
